Hag checked in, said he put the finishing touches on an 8-foot high security garden fence this spring to thwart the deer that have been hammerin’ Bev’s garden. He said the only thing the fence is missing is a roll of razor wire at the top and he may consider suicide if this doesn’t stop them. He also mentioned that Kip Everett stopped by his place with his wife Doris and grandson Ben when they were up visiting their property in Susquehanna County. Hag said Kip is artificially breeding cows. Said they had a nice visit, and caught up on some old times, and Hag said Kip and Doris have seven kids and six grandchildren now. Finally, got a call from Jack Leary. It was really good to talk to him. Jack celebrated his 60th birthday in June (OK, guys, Jack may have been the oldest, but we are all getting close) with a trip to Brussels to stay with his brother who is working there.
