BREAKFAST
Overnight Oats with Fruit
Serves: 1 Total prep time: 10 min.
Layer the following in a covered dish or mason jar:
INGREDIENTS ½ cup old-fashioned oats 1 / 3 cup skim milk( or milk alternative) ¼ cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt
1 tsp chia seeds ½ tsp vanilla extract 1 tsp honey ¼ cup seasonal fruit
PREPARATION 1. Mix above ingredients( except fruit) well with a spoon. 2. Cover and place in the fridge overnight. 3. In the morning warm in the microwave for 30-40 seconds, if desired. 4. Stir in ¼ cup of seasonal fruit of your choice.
NOTE: Multiple individual servings can be made at one time.
