Time: Friend or Foe? Time is an interesting concept because it can mean something different to everyone. When it comes to exercising you can run into various ways to use the concept of time. It can be used as an excuse, for the purpose of relaxation, the amount in which you are awake, an extension of your life, or several combinations of these. Is lack of time your first excuse to not exercise? “I don't have time today,” or “I don't have time to get it all done so why should I start?” Then there is the “I don't have time to fit it in with all the other things that I need to do today,” and “I don't have the time by myself.” Those are the most common excuses I hear all the time. If these are some of the phrases you find yourself saying on a regular basis there is a solution. A welldesigned high intensity program can have you finishing a great workout in less than 20 minutes with no equipment and right in your own home. If you have time to watch TV, check Facebook, talk on the phone, check the scores or any of those other things, you have time to exercise and give back to your body and mind. This will also "buy" you time since it will give you more energy and lead to a healthy lifestyle that will extend your life and the quality of it. A lot of people believe that they need an hour every second day or every day in order to make a difference in their health. This simply isn't the case. A great workout three times a week will give you fantastic health benefits. It will increase your stamina and lower your blood pressure and resting heart rate which will increase your strength.
