PINK RIBBON BREAKFAST RAISES MORE THAN $ 12,000 FOR BREAST CANCER FOUNDATION
Ray White Mangere raised $ 12,395.50 for the Breast Cancer Foundation at their Pink Ribbon Breakfast .
The event was attended by 72 AT Realty agents , and included two guest speakers , a performance from Anuanua Performing Arts Troupe , and a charity auction .
The first guest speaker was Ray White Manukau salesperson Sally Wong .
“ She is an inspiration to us all and is herself a breast cancer survivor ,” event organiser and Ray White Mangere salesperson Claudia Sanchez said .
The second guest speaker was cancer advocate Troy Elliot .
“ Troy has been a cancer advocate since his first wife Tracey was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer in April 2014 ,” Claudia said .
“ He has petitioned parliament for approval of various unfunded medications over the last nine years .
“ Tracey lost her battle in 2020 on the last day of Breast Cancer Awareness month and Troy is committed to campaigning for change in our health system as a legacy to Tracey .”
Ray White Mangere agent Pat Lapalapa acted as auctioneer for the charity auction , helping the office surpass its fundraising goal of $ 10,000 .
“ A one-on-one session with AT Realty principal Adam Thomas as the pilot on a plane ride over Auckland City was the item which received the highest bids ,” Claudia said .
RAY WHITE TAKANINI BRINGS COMMUNITY TOGETHER WITH POOCH PARTY
More than 40 doggos of all shapes and sizes gathered in Kauri Heart Park with their owners and families as Ray White Takanini hosted a pooch party .
The event was organised by Ray White Takanini ’ s Ann Prinsloo and Katie Rawson-Massey to help raise brand awareness , bring the community together , and have some fun .
“ There were lots of giveaways and prizes sponsored by Franklin Vets , Zeus & Paws Boutique and Mud Butter doggy treats ,” Ann said .
“ We had plenty of activities including a doggy fashion show , peanut butter eating competition , and a quirky speed race where the doggies wore outfits with a jockey on their back when they ran - it was so cute !
“ For the kids we had a bouncy castle and for everyone who attended there was a sausage sizzle and a coffee cart to enjoy .”
“ It sold for $ 3,100 and was won by agents Jay Singh and Bob Lemalu .”
