RAY WHITE TAKANINI AND KARAKA COLLECT PYJAMAS FOR GOOD CAUSE
The team at Ray White Takanini and Karaka collected 393 pairs of pyjamas for the Middlemore Foundation as part of their Jammies in June campaign .
RAY WHITE GOES THE DISTANCE FOR CHRIS O ’ BRIEN LIFEHOUSE
During August , Ray White Erskineville | Surry Hills and Ray White Woollahra | Paddington contributed to the Go the Distance campaign for Chris O ’ Brien Lifehouse . Spearheaded by cancer patient , Kai Suteja , Go the Distance encourages participants to run , swim or cycle , contributing to a total of 380,000kms - the distance Lifehouse patients collectively travel every year for their treatment .
The goal ? To raise an additional $ 380,000 to go towards research and life-saving treatment .
They also donated a further $ 1,000 to the cause , which helps to fund life changing health , home , and education initiatives around South Auckland .
“ Helping and responding to the critical needs of vulnerable families in South Auckland is a cause very close to our heart ,” marketing administrator Ann Prinsloo said .
“ We have been in partnership with Middlemore Foundation for more than seven years , supporting the Jammies in June initiative to change the odds in South Auckland and help children in disadvantaged communities thrive .
“ In an attempt to create awareness around the campaign and to collect more PJs , we hosted a funrun event which brought the local Karaka community together .”
We ’ re proud to say the teams have so far raised over $ 3,600 , and there ’ s still time to donate .
