She completed more than 130 deals last year and recommends all rookiesdig deep and hard in their first year as it will eventually pay off .
She built her business after a year of solid door knocking and her only advice to rookies is to ‘ think outside the box ’. She uses giveaways or draws to get people ’ s data , and speaks to as many people as she can every day . She ’ s got a lot of energy but has also made a lot of sacrifices - there was no such thing as a day off in her first year .
“ The magic figure is to connect with 210 people each week - buyers or sellers - and the rest will fall into place . Keep it simple and get in front of people , I love to doorknock and never let the knock backs affect my day ,” she said .
Jasmyn ’ s whole business model sees her speaking to people - aiming to speak to 50 people a day . Some days she would speak to 50 and get nothing but she had to snap herself back out of it and get her mindset right for the next day .
“ I learned how to leverage social media early . I had no money for marketing when I started but my mum gave me six Penrith Panthers jerseys so I put up a Facebook page for people to win them by filling in a Google form with all personal details ,” Jasmyn said .
“ I won 25 appraisals from that process .”
