RAY WHITE ’ S TALENTED CREATIVES

BY NINA CLARKE
WE KNOW THAT OUR RAY WHITE NETWORK IS A TALENTED BUNCH , BUT DID YOU KNOW THAT SOME OF OUR MEMBERS HAVE PARTICULARLY BRILLIANT TALENTS IN THE ARTS ? FROM PAINTING MASTERPIECES AS A WAY TO UNWIND , TO A ROCK ‘ N ’ ROLL BASS PLAYING SIDE HUSTLE .
HERE ARE SOME OF OUR FAVOURITE LOCAL TALENTS :
PRINCIPAL , RAY WHITE DALKEITH | CLAREMONT
I ’ ve always loved to paint . I chatted to a client who was a painter , and she convinced me to come along to a weekly art class .
When I was younger , my mum and dad thought the arts was a bit of a pipe dream , but I always had the passion . I love painting whimsical and fun landscapes , and primarily work with acrylics .

VIVIEN YAP

FINE ARTIST
During the pandemic , I decided to explore all different types of creativity and really made an effort to utilise the artistic side of my brain .
PRINCIPAL , RAY WHITE CARINA
I have been playing and performing since grade nine . Over the last five years I ‘ ve released an album and five singles which were recorded just before COVID-19 at Airlock Studios ( owned and run by Ian Haug from Powderfinger ). A couple of the songs had some air time .
We are currently working on some more original songs and hoping to be back in the recording studios later this year . Music is so joyous and the most amazing release from our stressful lives .
Nothing is more confronting than stepping out of the green room onto a stage and performing in front of a big crowd . It ’ s great to get out of your comfort zone .
