In February, Ray White Double Bay agent Kate Smith partnered with Dress for Success NSW & ACT to collect clothing donations for the notfor-profit, volunteer run organisation.
“ I’ ve seen them at multiple women’ s events and was instantly drawn to them because they are the most incredible initiative,” Kate said.
“ Their mission is to educate and empower women, while also styling them for future roles in the workplace. They are powered by over 500 volunteers and have helped more than 3,000 women locally in the past 12 months.
“ It’ s a totally free service, and is for women who have been out of the workforce for various reasons- life events, a traumatic experience or domestic violence.
“ They style them, help them with their resume, and educate them on interview techniques. Getting back into the workforce can be a really scary experience but they’ re there to help.
“ There’ s also a stigma around getting to a certain age as a woman and you can feel less empowered, this service challenges that mentality and gives them confidence.”
Established in 2009, Dress for Success NSW & ACT helps women to thrive in work and in life. They help women facing financial challenges to transform their lives, providing practical tools free of charge, supporting them not only to survive today but to thrive in the years beyond.
Dress for Success NSW & ACT’ s signature styling service, clothing and suite of career support offerings aim to help women overcome bias and discrimination when entering or re-entering the workforce- at no cost to the women needing the services.

Last December, the team at Sydney based office, Ray White Inner West were already looking ahead to 2025 after hosting a successful listing preview night for local buyer’ s agents in the lead up to Christmas.
“ Buy It Now 2025”, a buyer’ s agent preview night hosted by the inner west Sydney office showcased the team’ s upcoming listings to local buyer’ s agents in a bid to hit the ground running this January.
With numerous campaigns poised to launch in early January, Ray White Inner West Elite agent Tina O’ Connor said the event was designed to give their sellers a competitive advantage by showcasing their properties to buyer’ s agents ahead of time.
“ It was a fantastic evening spent with so many successful buyers’ advocates from the local area,” Tina said.
“ Our goal was to bring together the local buying professionals and highlight our commitment to fostering strong, collaborative relationships with all buyer’ s agents in the inner west marketplace.
“ It was an amazing opportunity to spend time with all the local professionals, cementing the fact that Ray White Inner West has a strong relationship with all buyer’ s agents in the market place and are not bound to any particular buyer’ s agents.
“ This was the clear message to our customers and the industry that we wanted to convey. It was a huge success.”
Transgender women and nonbinary individuals, comfortable in women’ s spaces, are warmly welcomed.
