TikTok is shaking up the real estate scene in 2024 , after slowly making it ’ s way into the industry for the last few years . Real estate professionals are hopping on TikTok to showcase dream properties paired with trending audios , quick tips and a dash of personality .
With the nature of the platform being to engage with younger audiences , it ’ s not all about the listings . Agents are using the platform to educate first-home buyers , share market insights and ' go viral ' with relatable topics .
We ’ ve heard from some of our group ’ s TikTok sensations below , to dive deeper into how they create engaging and

Why did you decide to join TikTok ? What ' s the purpose ?
My assistant Sarah was adamant she could generate a point of difference in real estate social media marketing starting with TikTok . And she was right . The purpose of our journey on TikTok is to break away from agent stereotypes and instead show the personality side of our agents . y
Which content performs best ? Do you get any enquiry from it ?
At the moment it ' s Taylor Swift content . But we normally find the best TikTok content is when we are showing the real side of agents . The " just listed " and " just sold - thanks to my amazing buyers and sellers " does not work , but I certainly get business from our traction across all of our socials .
What ' s your favourite trend ?
I don ' t mind an awkward dance trend . Or a challenge . The blindfold cup challenge was hilarious !
What was your most viral video ?
We ' ve had half a dozen or so blow up over one million views . But my favourite one is the reactions from Swifties when we surprised them with tickets to the Eras concert . That ' s currently got over 815k views but will likely go above that soon .
Can you provide us with your best TikTok tip ?
• Everything is content : the most mundane parts of your day ( eg . drops , putting out boards , sold stickers ) are interesting to people outside of our industry . People connect with people so these ‘ boring ’ tasks can be a great way for your audience to see ur a person behind your personal brand . These tasks have earnt us millions of views in the past . Don ’ t forget to pair it with a trending sound !
• Be mindful of sensitive topics . Cancel culture is MASSIVE on TikTok so it might be worth getting a second opinion from a Gen Z colleague before posting .
