A RAY WHITE WEDDING

Ray White ’ s wedding of the year was between Mark “ Macca ” McLeod , our Chief Strategy Officer ( Real Estate ) and Kelly Tatlow , CEO of Concierge .
The couple were married at Frogmore Creek in Tasmania after more than 10 years together . Kelly looked glam in a stunning gown while Macca didn ’ t let his recent knee injury slow him down .
Ray White Rural ’ s Managing Director Stephen “ Nelly ” Nell emceed the event and had the guests in tears telling stories about his friendship with Macca and Kelly .
The night was so special that even the weather turned it on for the event with a rare occurrence of an aurora australis display over the state that weekend .

HEART KIDS

This March , Ray White Rowville ’ s Adam Sorrell abseiled down 100m building in Melbourne ’ s CBD to raise money for Heart Kids , a charity organisation that supports families with children born with heart disease . He smashed his $ 3,000 goal by raising $ 3,368 for the organisation .
When Adam ’ s daughter Charlie was born , she underwent open heart surgery at just three days old and had an issue with her heart . This is how he initially came to learn about the Heart Kids organisation and the fantastic work they do .
Charlie is now eight and doing really well with no complications after her surgery thanks to the work of the doctors and surgeons at Monash Heart and Royal Children ' s Hospital . She regularly visits the cardiologist and Adam said just looking at her , you would never know she had been through such a traumatic experience in her lifetime .

RIDE4VETS EVENT RAISES $ 3,000

A simple conversation over dinner between Michael Chapman from Ray White Mooloolaba , his partner Danielle Parés from Ray White Nambour and a couple of veteran friends set the scene for what would quickly become a full day Motorcycle Rally and Community Fundraising event .
Four weeks later , the first inaugural Ride4Vets event took place on the Labour Day long weekend with over 130 riders in attendance and $ 3,000 raised for Young Veterans Sunshine Coast .
Michael is a veteran and both are passionate motorbike enthusiasts , they combined their love for motorcycles with their strong family history in the military into an event that could be shared with all in the community .
With over 30,000 veterans calling the Sunshine Coast home , Michael and Danielle ’ s passion for assisting our veterans with their integration back into society has now become a stable event to be held on the Sunday of every Labour Day weekend in honour of our veterans .
The event not only brought together the military and civilian community , it also presented Michael and Danielle and Ray White to the military community as a trusted and supportive brand of our veterans in the real estate industry .
