What is involved in office sales and leasing ?
The commercial office markets generally focus on sales and leasing across central metropolitan areas , together with and built up regional satellite precincts . In Perth and across WA , our expertise must cover a diverse product range that extends well beyond traditional offices , and increasingly includes medical , education , also spill over to retail centres and childcare assets and the like .
This year our WA office sales and leasing team widely represented government , institutions , AREITS , sophisticated privates ( high net worths ) and regular folk , who all rely upon us to add value to the equation with consultancy , market analysis , promotion and astute negotiation . industry players and competitors as you would expect , there is a buzz that comes with winning a prized listing against professional competition and the exhilaration when a deal comes together . We love celebrating success , especially with clients , as many sale outcomes can be life changing !
What has been a standout deal of your career
A standout transaction currently in play ( terms just agreed ) is a sale of ' Gateway Commercial ', a 3,400sqm office building in East Perth . Myself and Stephen Harrison are representing all owners of 32 strata offices ' in one line '. Watch this space !
A notable recent sale was Drovers Wanneroo for $ 26 million ( Dec 2022 ), which took myself and Brett Wilkins eight months to get the deal done .
Why do you love it ?

What does your business do ?
Ray White Special Projects ( Queensland ) is a specialist business that sits within the Ray White Commercial group and focuses solely on the sale of development sites , including ; residential mixed use , healthcare , land lease communities , build to rent , childcare and residential investments .
Why do you love it ?
When I made my move to agency in 2014 ( after being a valuer ), I was very selective in what part of the sector I would operate , and development site sales was the perfect fit for my professional background . Every property and every deal has its own set of challenges and complexities and it ' s these challenges that I find rewarding , particularly when you achieve a great results for your client .
What has been a standout deal of your career ?
It ' s difficult to pinpoint a standout deal , however the sale of Stockland ' s Bahrs Scrub land holdings to Frasers Property Group early in my career for $ 42 million was an important milestone and a fantastic result at the time . Working alongside Mark Creevey and Tony Williams , I was exposed to a broad range of buyers from local private groups through to national and international listed real estate groups and we undertook a rigorous on market sale process .
