TALES FROM YOUR IT GUY

Welcome to edition two of Your IT Guy trying to make it as an agent . After edition one , I for the most part crashed and burned whilst making prospecting calls . This story is about spending the day with Brittany May from Ray White Sherwood and tagging along for some OFIs and appraisals .
Working in IT my dress sense it ’ s ... well ... its not pretty and certainly I was not in a state to present myself as a Ray White employee to customers . I booked a stylist who felt I had pretty much given up on trying to present myself in a professional way . Some 31 outfit changes and some vigorous debate over what ‘ my ’ style should be , I purchased four shirts , three pants , a suit jacket and one pair of shoes . $ 1250 just quietly .
I have kept my shoes ( above ) in case I want to revert back . Ok I am ready to spend the day with Brittany .
Brittany provided me with plenty of information about the properties prior to the day with questions I may be asked . WHOA - I thought I was just going to stand in the background ( preferably in the bushes ) and just watch . But Brittany said I would be checking people in and answering questions .
To say I was nervous was an understatement . I arrived 30 mins early to the first OFI and paced up and down the street checking out the house , to the point I became self conscious and though people may think I am scoping the street ! Thank God Brittany arrived and calmed me down and got me ready . I used Brittany ’ s phone and the Vault check-in app to start checking attendees in . The first check in done , I am now getting confident and now check in another six groups . Brittany asked how I was going and checked her phone , no check-ins … what the hell ?.... Oh give it a few seconds and it refreshes . I thought here we go , I have ruined the day but all was perfect . Brittany said mingle and have a chat with a few attendees ... ummm ... no thanks .
BUT one of the attendees asked what the land size was ?... 234sqm I screamed … What is the rental appraisal for up and down stairs ?.... $ 400 downstairs and $ 500 upstairs I said with joy ….
