It ’ s with much sadness to report that Pickle , one of our most popular contributors and the writer of the “ Ruff Guide ” column , has left The Whistler and gone to work for the great magazine in the sky . Pickle was always diligent and professional and took his work very seriously . He never let food go untasted , never let a plate go unlicked . Before moving on , Pickle trained up a couple of apprentices and the “ Ruff Guide ” column will return after a short paws in the new year .
