My grandmother died at the ripe old age of 39. I had an older sister die at the age of 33 from a different disease. And as a child, I had asthma very bad. and could have easily been next on the list. But I did not reason from cause to effect correctly as a child, I did not think that deep or far reaching back then. I never met my grandmother. But I knew my sister was in and out of the hospital all the time, but did not have a clue why. But fighting with asthma myself, I remember the old folks remedy about the cherry tree. I remember another remedy which was not drinking milk. The cherry tree was not used on me, and not drinking milk did not keep me free from disease. I remember spending time in the hospital, barely able to breathe, grasping for air. I remember going through many spray inhalers. My mother did her best. But had she known about the basics in Anatomy and Physiology and taught me this in her own way, and shared with me what I could do as a youngster to be free from disease it would have been like the tree of life to me as a youngster. How gladly would I have done what I could to be free of this disease that seems to squeeze all the breath out of you where you are found inhaling deeply grasping for air. Oh what a horrible experience. But
