Closing remarks for the OC 2019
I want to thank everyone for attending this year’s Gold’s Gym Owners’ Conference.
The OC is “our time, our lodge meeting”.
Our special guest speaker, Pete Moore, was very informative and gave us a lot to
think about regarding the industry. He stated that the market is swinging back to-
wards what the Gold’s Gym DNA represents which is RESULTS, STRENGTH and
CONFIDENCE.
The Speed dating sessions with the vendors were, as always, a big hit for the
vendors as well as the owners. What a great way to meet new people as well as
foster existing relationships. I had multiple owners tell me they learned a lot from
vendors during their session. The support we receive from our supplier partners
is so special to us, and we appreciate the time and energy they expend to make
this event and others truly great.
Having Adam, Craig and Dave at the OC gave you guys firsthand access to them.
They provided great insight to what is happening in the world of GGI, franchising
and marketing.
The first ever Say it, Solve it seemed to prove itself as something we all enjoy
and gain a lot from. It just proves to me that we all love to help each other and
truly are family. This is invaluable for all of us, as these ideas and practices have
been tried and tested by others and given to us to use.
This year’s conference was full of learning, sharing and networking. As I
mentioned in my closing remarks, I hope you took many good ideas away from
IHRSA, Gold’s Gym Convention, GGFA Regional events and the 2019
Owners’ Conference and use this new knowledge to plan your best ever 2020.
