it is irreversible, so the only way
to “fix” them is to propagate. You
begin the propagation process by
taking the leaves off the original
plant. Don’t just yank them off,
though. Slowly wiggle it side to
side till it pops off. Then place it
on a window sill, or somewhere
like that, and let it sit for anywhere
from several days to a week. The
spot where the leaf was connected to the steam should be somewhat callused looking. Next lay
them on top of some succulent/
cactus soil and wait. And wait.
And wait. Slowly, their roots will
begin to show, and then a little
succulent plant will form. Depending on the type of plant, this
can take anywhere from 2 weeks
to a couple months. Once the
plant grows a little bigger and the
original leaf starts to shrivel up,
you can plant it in dirt. I plant
them in a 4 pack container like
you would buy plants in until they
are big enough to put into their
own pot. Hardy succulents like
Hen and Chicks can be propagated by simply cutting off the smaller plant and planting it in another
pot. Water baby succulents with
a spray bottle, and like always,
keep them in sun. Then you’ll
have lots of succulents to give
away or enjoy yourself! I hope
you enjoy this article, and I hope
it will be helpful to you in growing
succulents!
