The Virtuous Businesswoman eZine First Edition | Página 7

I have had the pleasure of being a member of VBN for 9 months. I connected with Angela Valentine through a networking group, lost touch for a couple years and was finally able to speak with her again in 2014. She shared with me the Virtuous Businesswomen Network that she started and I immediately knew this was a community of women I wanted to be a part of. I was very thankful that Angi thought of me and invited me to the network.

What I love and appreciate about the women of VBN is how they make you feel welcomed in that first introduction. I was invited to the Saturday fellowship, and I was so amazed at how open and inviting the women were. They truly were happy to "meet" me and glad I was part of the group. The feelings grow from there. We are a diverse group of women who have come together through our faith and are united in so many ways. We can talk to each other about anything, without judgement and if we are going through a struggle, the women of VBN are there for guidance, prayer and support.

Unilike other women's groups that I have been connected with, the women of VBN are genuine. There is no fluff, no hype, just true friendship. I look forward to our weekly fellowship on Saturday mornings because by the time the call is over, I feel invigorated and ready to face the world and guaranteed to have at least one good laugh to cap off the call.

I am very honored to be part of this unique group of women.

It was a year ago when Angela and I were talking she mentioned the idea of forming a virtuous business women networking group. The name was enough to entice me to want to be a part. What makes this group so special is that it draws women of God. We get together via conference call each week to share our passions, struggles, and celebrate successes personally and professionally. It is an atmosphere of sisterhood, love, compassion, support, plenty of prayers, tears, and of course laughter. Not only is the group geared towards business women who love God, but also it is committed to mentoring young women that want to develop personal relationships with God. By being associated with this group they will learn how to become women of God who can be also be entrepreneurs.

I am so thankful for Angela Valentine and VBN.
