The Virtuous Businesswoman eZine First Edition | Seite 6

Before VBN woman came into my life, I had been going through some really rough heart breaking moments. I was questioning God in what he was doing, why was my life being lied on, why didn’t my family pray for me through this rough time in my life? I had lost so much, and time after time I would re-live my past and tears would fall down my face. I would pray and I would hear the Lord say “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. Proverbs 3:5 Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bend them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Proverbs 3:3.

When my husband would hear my cries, and see my pain he would try to comfort me, but the pain just wouldn’t go away. One Saturday morning, the burden had gotten really heavy and the Lord sent the

VBN women into my life. They couldn’t come at a better time. I was feeling weak and had no more strength, I felt as if I was letting go. The Lord said, watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. 1

Corinthians 16:13. Now I can’t wait to hear from my sisters in Christ

I am so excited for Saturday morning fellowships and Tech trainings. I am letting go of what I can’t change, dealing with what I can. My heart is healing, my business attitude has changing. I feel the encouragement of the Lord through each and every woman in VBN. We are a group of woman that pray together, encourage one another, uplift each other. I have a gift of love, and helping others, “I simply love, love.” I thank God for all he has done, and all he is about to do in my life as a VBN woman.

I was referred to VBN over 1 year ago by a friend in the United States and it was an answer to prayer. I was in the midst of resurrecting my consulting/coaching business, after a hiatus period, due to my husband's back surgeries.

I was praying for a group of Christian business women who were like-minded and desirous of aligning their businesses with God's Kingdom principles, while at the same time, learning new technologies and sharing business practices and ideas.

VBN was such an answer to prayer and over the past year, Angela Valentine, the founder of VBN, has been pivotal in this process. She is a virtuous businesswoman who walks the talk and has been instrumental in setting the bar of excellence in all that she has taught and shared with us. Without Angela and her co-partner, Alwanda Carothers, VBN would not be where it is today.

Come and check us out.......you will not be disappointed. God has some great plans for VBN this coming year!
