At some point in our lives, many, if not all of us, will experience a crisis in belief that will test and challenge the very core of our being. It will bring us face to face with what defines us, who we are and what is our God given purpose while here on earth.

We are living in a world today, a global community, that is in constant change and crisis and what seemed true yesterday may quickly become a thing of the past tomorrow. The age of information and technology is upon us and new ideas and innovations are now becoming the norm. While this is probably one of the most exciting and strategic times in history, it is proving to be one of the most perilous and dangerous times as well.

God is raising up an army of Godly men and women who are anointed for such a time of this…….Christian men and women who have come through their own crisis of belief, who are chasing after the Lord at a much deeper level of intimacy and truth and who are coming together in unity in spirit to usher in God’s plans and purposes in this new season.

El Shaddai Enterprises, owned and operated by Diane Lloyd, a spirit-filled Christian in British Columbia, Canada, was birthed out of such a crisis of belief. It started with Diane’s quest for truth and her desire to discover the character traits of servant leaders vs. self-serving leaders. Without realizing it at the time, her love of life, passion for excellence and sense of adventure would propel her own career and take her on mountain climbing and scuba diving expeditions to different parts of the world, including developing countries, where she would be faced with her own fears and limiting beliefs about who she was and her God given purpose in life.

While on this quest, she met people and leaders of different backgrounds, cultures and belief systems. These experiences caused her to question so many aspects about her own life, particularly her purpose and calling and the excessive materialism that she was surrounded by back in North America. She needed to understand why those in some of the developing countries, who had so much less compared to those in North America, were actually so much richer in many other ways.

Then, on May 24th, 1997, Diane had a supernatural encounter with the living Jesus Christ that would change the course of her life forever! This experience brought her to her own crisis of belief about who she was, what she believed, what defined her, what differentiated her from others and how her own sin was separating her from a close and personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The supernatural love and grace of Jesus brought her to her knees and with a repentant heart, Diane asked for forgiveness and invited Jesus into her heart as her Lord and Saviour. It was this decision that immediately sealed her eternal destiny as she was instantly adopted into God’s royal family as His daughter. “At our conversion, we were adopted into God’s family through Jesus Christ. We have a new identity—the sons and daughters of God. The eternal God is our Father (1 John 3:1–2)”.
The real adventure was just beginning as God would gradually show Diane how He was going to use her giftings, skills and life experiences for His plans and purposes, not those of “men”.
