After that, the first Friday, January 3, at 6 pm, we’ll be presenting our First Friday Film. it's a film about the X-men's Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), summoned to Japan by an old acquaintance and embroiled in a conflict that forces him to confront his own demons. And, ninjas too! You can find out more about mr. Wiener at his website: www. alterwiener.com. Arrive early for seating, as we must close the doors when seating capacity is reached. On Thursday, January 9 at 6 pm, the Wilsonville Library book Club will discuss Saving Ceecee Honeycutt, by Beth Hoffman. Cecelia (Cee-Cee) Honeycutt is a twelve-year-old girl tending to her mentally ill mother in Ohio, when the mother is suddenly and violently killed. A number of caring characters help nudge Ceecee back towards life in the pages of this bittersweet tale. Copies are available before the meeting, so come in and grab one today!
