Our Boys and Girls Aid (BGA)
main fundraiser for the year happens at the 11th Annual Crab and
Rib Dinner on Saturday, March 8.
Doors open at 5:30 pm and dinner
is served at 7 pm. The dinner features the ultra-fresh crab brought
in from the coast that day; ribs
from Lamb’s Thriftway; potato
salad, baked beans and cole slaw
from Reser’s; a tossed green salad
from Curry’s and bread and ice
cream cups. Good quality wine
will be available to buy for $5/
glass, various beers for $3 and
ther e will be free sodas.
Our BGA members are in the
process of soliciting a variety of
silent auction items and balloon
items for patrons who will attend
the event. Balloons sell for $10
each and are worth up to $25.
There will be a silent auction
with items and services ranging
from $25 in value up to a oneweek rental of a Kauai condo.
The “paddle raise” is offered
for those of us who have no need
for more “stuff,” but would like to
support our programs with a donation of $25, $50, $75 or $100.
These donations are 100 percent
tax-deductible.
Tickets this year are priced at
$55 and can be purchased by calling Rebecca Sturges at 503-5422755 or online at boysandgirlsaid.
