Winter Greetings to You All
Charbonneau
Women's
Association
President
Diann Harland
Have you considered a “getaway” this winter - or perhaps
next spring or summer? Then you
won’t want to miss our speaker
for February - Grant McOmie.
He will set you on the right path
toward exploring our state for adventures you may have missed so
far.
But, to hear Grant we have to
go off-site due to the remodeling
at the Charbonneau Country Club
Clubhouse, the February 10 CWA
luncheon meeting will take place
at the Willamette Valley Country
Club - 900 Country Club Place
in Canby. This is only a sevenmile drive from Charbonneau.
For those who need to carpool,
we have arranged for cars to be
waiting at the front entrance of
the Charbonneau Country Club.
We’ll be leaving the Clubhouse
at 10:45 am, with check-in at the
door in Canby no later than 11:30
am. A plated lunch will be served.
The price for the luncheon will
be $18 for members and $23 for
non-members. The deadline for
signing up is Thursday, February
6 at noon. The Willamette Valley Country Club is truly a lovely
venue for our luncheon. We think
you’ll enjoy this event and our
special speaker.
If you prefer to drive yourself,
you can access driving directions
from the website: Willamettevalleycountryclub.com or mapquest.

March Luncheon
Highlights
Mark your calendars for
March 10 for an Irish experience.
In March, we’ll be celebrating St.
Patrick’s Day back here in Charbonneau, in our newly remodeled
Clubhouse, with one of Charbonneau’s own resident authors,
Howard Franklin. Howard is
the author of An Irish Experience,
his first published work. The
book combines both his passion
for Ireland and his lifelong love
of the written word.
