Those who attended said they "loved" the event. There was a disc jockey who played a wide variety of music, a picture booth for fun photos and the company of many good friends. Dinner was pasta/salad bar provided by Curry's Landing. More than 100 people attended and watched the New York City ball drop at midnight Eastern Standard Time. Many people commented that the new, earlier time for the party made it more enjoyable. Dinner was at a normal time; it was a little more casual this year. Attendees had the option to stay until midnight Pacific Standard Time, if they wanted. The DJ had an ongoing trivia contest and gave out Starbucks gift cards throughout the evening. He also had a light show in conjunction with with the disco ball. The photo booth vendor provided props for use in the pictures, and the pictures were available as soon as they were taken. Those in attendance had a 2014 Charbonneau Happy New Year. The committee is planning for more new and fun activities for the next New Year's Eve party.
