Lakealnd ES first grade
students quickly got to work at
the beginning of the year,
practicing math facts with fun
group activities.
TECH TEACHING
Ms. Vaught's class worked
with Merge Cubes. The Merge
Cube allows the teacher the
power to use Augmented and
Virtual Reality in teaching.
The Cube allows the students
to visualize what the solar
system looks like, or how the
heart works, depending upon
what application is being used.
The students can tap on the
screen and information about
that topic pops up. The Merge
Cube is an excellent example of
hands-on learning
Ms. Vaught (below) was
recently selected as the Lead
Gifted Teacher for LSS.
