Arlington BBQ FallFest
Friday , October 19 & Saturday , Octorber 20 . The Arlington Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present a Memphis Barbecue Network sanctioned contest that will feature live entertainment , activities for families and children , a variety of vendors and concessions , and much more . Over $ 11,000 in prize money and trophies will be awarded to winners in three MBN categories ( Whole Hog , Pulled Pork , and Ribs ) and ten ' Anything But ' categories .

The Canada Road interchange was completed , the Middle School was built . The Lake District with Hotels , a Malco and upscale restaurants , and the Lake District will become the new hot spot .

Tennessee Gov . Bill Haslam and Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation ( TDEC ) Commissioner Dr . Shari Meghreblian recently announced a series of grants to help fund parks and recreation .
Included in these grants is $ 500,000 awarded to the City of Lakeland for Phase 1 of a Master Planned Sports Complex including a multi-use open turf field , gravel vehicular access road and parking with lighting , ADAcompliant parking stalls , ADA-compliant concrete sidewalk which connects to an ADAcompliant seating area , park maintenance building with a gravel access drive , and landscaping .

Wildcat Throwback : A Celebration of Bolton High School Classes 1990-1996
There will be a multi-class reunion for all graduates of the Bolton High School Classes of 1990 -1996 on Saturday , October 20th from 7:00-11:00 pm at the Robinson Gallery ( 400 South Front Street , Memphis , Tennessee 38103 ). Tickets are $ 50 per person and should be purchased in advance . Stay up to date on the event by joining the Facebook Page : Wildcat Throwback : A Celebration of BHS Classes 90-96 .
In addition to the multi-class reunion above , the Class of 1993 will celebrate their 25th year on Friday night , October 19th at 7:00 pm at The Legacy Bar & Grille , 11695 U . Lakeland Halloween Festival
Sunday , October 21 from 1:00- 4:00 pm , IH Park , 4523 Canada Road . Families are invited to this year ’ s Halloween Festival packed fun and games . Bring your whole family for this ghoulish Sunday afternoon event . The kids will get a thrill out of Lakeland ’ s Great Pumpkin Patch filled with pumpkins for the picking . Once they pick out their favorite pumpkin , they can decorate it and take home . This is a free event for families .
