Dancing Down Memory Lane
On Friday, April 6, the
Lakeland Senior Center
held its first music and
luncheon event featuring
entertainment provided by
Creative Aging of the
Midsouth.
Guests couldn’t resist
hitting the dance floor
(photo, left) as Vocalist
Mike Dougherty
performed a selection of
late 50s and 60s hits,
including The Twist by
Chubby Checkers. Soon,
Dougherty slowed it down
a bit, so couples could
share a slow dance.
