Five Flags for
Holidays
Fundraiser
Arlington Boy Scouts Troop
452 is conducting a fund raiser
to deck the streets of Arlington
with
American
Flags.
Residents/businesses are asked
to make a $25 donation to
Troop 452 for a flag placement
service.
The Troop will place a 3ft by
5ft American flag in the donor’s
yard (near the street/mailbox) or
in front of a business.
The Scouts come by in the
early morning to plant the flag,
then return that evening to
retrieve the flag and store it for
the next holiday.
The 5 holidays are:
Memorial Day
Flag Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Veterans Day
The flag placement area is
Highway 70 to Lamb Road on
the west side of Arlington, the
Fayette County line on the east.
North of I-40, but inclusive of
the neighborhood next to the
Welcome Center.
