2nd Annual Tour de Lakeland & Spring Festival
The second annual Tour de Lakeland & Spring Festival , celebrating the City ’ s 40th anniversary , is scheduled for Saturday , May 13 , 8 a . m . to 2 p . m ., and will feature a beautiful nature ride through Lakeland , live music , face painting , inflatables , food , a silent auction and more .

Entry fees are $ 35 for the longer rides and $ 12 for the 4 mile fun ride . All cyclists receive a t-shirt and entrance to the festival is FREE .

Lakeland Annual Children ’ s Fishing Rodeo
Saturday , May 20th , beginning promptly at 8 a . m . at IH Managerial Park Lake , 4523 Canada Rd .
Bring your pole and bait for the annual fishing rodeo for children ages 4-12 ( accompanied by an adult ). Onsite

The rodeo includes seven , 15 -minute sessions . Winners will win a prize at every session . Trophies will also be given out for the longest fish , most fish caught - boy , and most fish caught - girl . There will be lots of prize giveaways .

Memorial Day Ceremony
Arlington Chapter of the Association for the Preservation of Tennessee Antiquities ( APTA ) will host the annual ceremony on Memorial Day , May 29 , to honor those who have lost their lives in service for our county . Everyone is welcome to attend this event at 9:00 am at the Arlington Cemetery on 5837 Chester Street in Arlington . Please bring your own chairs .
Following the service , you are invited to enjoy a brunch hosted by ABC Leaning Center and the Arlington Chamber of Commerce held at 5999 Polk St . in Arlington .
