Arlington High School Artists Win Big At The West TN Regional Art Center Student Exhibition
Arlington High School Artists made a big splash at the West TN Regional Art Center Student Exhibition with 40 artworks accepted into the juried show , 10 of which won top honors including Best of Show and Best Drawing . The works will hang at the West TN Regional Art Center in Humboldt from January 9th-Febraury 24th . There will be a reception on Sunday , January 22nd to honor all of the students who have work in the show as well as the winners . The Best of Show winners ' work will also be shown in Nashville at Belmont University in a show that will run from June through August of 2016 .

AHS JV & Varsity Cheer Bring State Titles Back to A-Town

Once again the Arlington High School Junior Varsity and Varsity cheer teams ( pictured above ) are the Tennessee State Cheerleading Champions . AHS teams have won a combined 15 state titles and have consistently placed in the top of their divisions . The teams are coached by Chris Crabtree and Luke Nowell ; their sponsor is Lacey Thron .
Arlington High School Wins Multiple Awards at the Briarcrest Regional Art Contest & Exhibition
Arlington High School art students won numerous awards at the recent Briarcrest Regional Art Contest & Exhibition . A reception was held to honor the student winners , and the art was on public display in the Sparks Chapel Lobby at Briarcrest from October 27th-October 31st . AHS entered 8 works , 7 of which earned special recognition .
