38002.com theview theview August 2014 arlington high On behalf of the faculty and staff, I want to welcome everyone back to what is going to be a great year at Arlington High School. I am honored to be serving in my first full year as your principal and look forward to the work we will be doing together as a school community. Our motto for this school year is “WE’RE ALL IN!” We are certainly in new and exciting times within our community and in our new school system. Within our community there is much anticipation as we start our own school system and begin the task of another exciting year. As we begin this new school year, the administration, faculty, staff, and students look forward to achieving new heights while working with our great community and all of our stakeholders. My promise to our students, teachers and community is that we will keep our focus on growing students, both academically and socially. Students will experience an academic program that will challenge them to choose course offerings that meet their interests, talents, and goals. Success in high school demands thoughtful planning, regular attendance, parental involvement and a good work ethic. We will also be offering our Honors and AP scholars program, which will push students to do their best. Our staff will encourage students to challenge themselves, work hard, develop good study habits, set ambitious goals and simply have fun.
