A native of Oakland, she was born April 28, 1919, and was a Sister of the Presentation for 77 years. Sister Thomas was the daughter of Florence Champreaux and Harry Ellis Magee. She was predeceased by her sister, Sister Marie Baptiste Magee, PBVM. She spent 30 years as an elementary school teacher and librarian.
