Sports and Fitness Centre
Our Sports and Fitness Centre provides
extensive high-quality facilities on the
Hull Campus. It has a recently refurbished
sports hall as well as floodlit tennis,
football and netball surfaces. The fitness
area is also worth a visit, and an early
opening time of 7 am allows ample time
to exercise before starting work.
Various membership types are provided
for the benefit of staff and their families,
and one of them is sure to suit the level
and nature of your intended use of the
facilities. For more information visit,
www.hull.ac.uk/sportscentre or call
(01482 46) 6234.
Colleagues based at Scarborough
may wish to take advantage of the
Filey Road Sports Centre, which is run
by Scarborough Leisure Services. Its
facilities include squash, badminton,
tennis and a gym, and it runs a
programme of fitness classes.
As well as a swimming pool, the complex
has a fitness suite. It offers an annual
concessionary membership fee for
students and staff of the University.
