As they were riding along in the woodlands they talked about everything and anything the prince grew more and more intrigued with Rose with every word. As they were riding along Rose could have sworn she heard a noise.

“Liam. Did you hear that?”

“No, why what did it sound like?” he asked. Right as the words left his mouth a band or pirates emerged surrounding them.

“Ahh that!” Liam spoke with sarcasm lacing every word.

Rose was afraid, but she didn't show it. The pirates demanded that they give them their horse; however, Liam was not one to give into anyone’s demands. He hopped off the horse with Rose following suit praying that she knew what she was doing. She never was put in such a situation before. The pirates charged at them and Liam fought some of them off, while Rose was internally kicking herself for coming on this adventure. However, like clockwork, these skills just appeared. Her wish that she had made last night with her fairy godmother was coming along. She was faster, more agile, and all around a perfect fighter. The next thing she knew, she was taking down some pirates herself. To the point, they both had defeated them together, the only difference is she did it without getting a scratch and Liam had a gash on his side.

“Liam!” Rose screamed once she saw the blood. Liam laughed thinking it was a scratch.

“How did you learn to fight like that?” he asked slightly out of breath.  He tried to stand straight although the gash was not letting him.

“I don't know. It just happened. I'm surprised myself! However I'm more concerned about this.” Rose explained looking at his wound. He assured her he was fine but he could barely stand. She leaned him against the tree so that she could have a closer look and ended up ripping the bottom of her dress to wrap it around his torso.

“This should hold us over until I get you back to the kingdom,” she explained.

“Where did you come from?” Liam asked with a smile as he started sweating from the blood loss he was experiencing.

“Somewhere that they don't let princes die. Now come on,” she explained. Liam leaned on her and he managed to get on the horse as did she. She rode off straight to the castle. She managed to get there right in time.
