Hopper’s top years and House Staff
Hopper’s 150th Anniversary Dinner: on Tuesday 12 th November 2019, 236 Hopperites- a record number for any of the
recent house anniversaries and with a particularly good representation from the younger generations- gathered at
Merchant Taylors’ Hall to celebrate an important milestone. They were welcomed by Housemaster Chris Good, who
spoke on behalf of current Hopperites. Tommy Cookson (I, 55-60; Housemaster 83-90; Headmaster 03-05) made a
wonderful reply on behalf of the guests. ‘Domum’ was sung to the old tune, much to the mystification of those guests
aged less than 30.
