Peter James Lowndes Wright( A, 53- 58); died 25.2.2026. Son of JELW, 3rd generation of Wykehamists, father to son. Lords 1957-8( capt), Soccer XI 1957-8, Princes 1957-8( capt), Schools final Queen’ s, Fives 1957-8( capt). Magdalene College Cambridge 1960-3, 2( ii) Econ pt 1, 2( ii) Law pt 2, Rackets 1962-3( capt). Called to the Bar 1964. He then managed mutual liability insurance associations, being employed by Thomas Miller London in 1963 and establishing their Greek office in 1995 where he worked until he retired in 2003. He loved horse racing, his mother Anne being a successful breeder, as well as football, tennis, golf and Formula 1. He also enjoyed the Mediterranean lifestyle, good food, the company of friends and sunny weather. He married( 1) Julia Russell in 1964, marriage dissolved 1978,( 2) Gillian Richards in 1979, marriage dissolved in 1996, and( 3) Anastasia Lagos in 2000, who survives him, together with 2 daughters and a son from the first marriage and a son from the second.
Anthony Peter Ziegler( F, 53-57); died 10. 2025. Brother of CGZ. Christ Church Oxford, 2 Mod Lang 1962, MA 1968. Advertising 1963- 6; game warden, East and Central Africa 1966-83; charity administrator 1984-7, freelance wildlife conservation consultant, Africa and South America
1987-97. He married Felicity Wilmot in 1964, who survives him together with their 2 sons.
David Elsey Fradgley( H, 54-58); died 20.1.2026. Son of PGF, brother of JWF and NRF. Bisley 1958. Hampshire & Surrey Colleges of Agriculture NCA, NDArb. After working three years in New Zealand with The Auckland Herd Improvement Association, he returned to manage farms in Wales, Dorset and Hampshire, and established successful dairy units in East Sussex and Wales. He retired from farming and developed a busy arboricultural and consulting business in West Sussex, from which he retired in 2006. He was involved with charity work with his local Rotary Club, where he was President twice, and was committed to an After Stroke Support Group and a Bereavement Support Group locally. He married( 1) Jennifer Broad in 1968, who died in 2004, and( 2) Desi Croysdale in 2006, who survives him together with 3 sons from the first marriage.
Peter James Burrows( H, 55-60); died 14.1.2026. J Mills Carpentry Prize-he continued with woodwork throughout his life. Trinity College Oxford 1960- 4, 2 Med, BA 1964, BM, BCh 1966. St Thomas’ s Hospital 1964-6; Junior hospital posts, Leamington Spa, Oxford, Plymouth, Southampton. GP, Romsey. MRCP 1972, FRCGP 1985; examiner, Royal College of GPs; GP tutor, Southampton General Hospital. He was passionately interested in medical education and an early adopter of technology, recognising its potential in medicine. He felt deeply about social injustice and helped campaign for the Liberal Democrats and for electoral reform. He loved the natural world: he was a keen gardener and, in many years, achieved near self-sufficiency in fruit and vegetables. He married Georgina Scott in 1966, who survives him together with their 3 sons.

He travelled without a home in Israel during Intifada. He married Diana Bell in 1965, marriage dissolved 2002, and is survived by their son and daughter.

Consultant physician Wycombe General Hospital 1978; FRCP 1987. A keen gardener and fisherman. He married Dr Helen Chapel in 1970, who survives him, together with their son and daughter.
Christopher( Clem) Louis Sunter( E, 57-63); died 18.2.2026. Lords, VI, Princes, Athla Colours. New College Oxford 1963, PPE, BA. Management trainee Charter Consolidated Ltd 1966; Anglo American Corporation Central Africa, Lusaka 1971. He moved to South Africa in 1973 and pursued a business career with AAC. Director of main board and many group companies, chairman of Gold and Uranium Division 1990-96, when it was the largest gold producer in the world; non-executive director and chairman of the Chairman’ s Fund, rated as the premier corporate social responsibility fund in South Africa.
