As a longtime advocate for Latinos and founder of the first and largest Spanish legal advertising firm in the U . S ., Mary Ann Walker has helped hundreds of thousands of Latinos in the U . S . obtain legal services , resulting in hundreds of millions of dollars in both settlement and awards . Her dedication to obtaining justice for Latinos began when she was only 22-year-old working as a Spanish language court interpreter in the Los Angeles Courts in the early 1980s , where she saw Latinos denied fair and equal justice simply because they could not speak English . Witnessing this unjust disparity , she created a firm dedicated to providing equal access to all legal services for the underserved Latino community .
As a marketing expert known for her award-winning innovative strategies with an unwavering commitment to the Latino community , she leads the Marketing team at the Walker Firm to ensure that Latinos continue to have equal access to the education and legal services they deserve . She was asked by the Biden-Harris team to help register Spanishspeaking Latinos to vote during the 2020 election . Her work resulted in reaching over 25 million Spanish-language listeners and viewers with the message of voter registration on television , radio , and digital media platforms .
Mary Ann Walker is a graduate of Webster University , Los Angeles . She is a member of Delta Mu Delta and the International Honor Society in Business Administration . Ms . Walker is also a contributing writer for the National Trial Lawyer publications and has lectured at Loyola Law School , the National Trial Lawyers Association , and Marymount University .
