The National Trial Lawyers is pleased to release the 2023 A-List . Using data gathered from Nielsen Media Research , The National Trial Lawyers analyzes dollars spent on advertising and the overall success of a firm ’ s yearly marketing efforts to select the top 100 advertising law firms in the country for selection on The A-List . These A-List firms represent America ’ s Premier Advertising Law Firms .
We created The A-List In 2019 to recognize , honor , and celebrate the nation ’ s most influential and impactful legal marketers . In just those four years , The A-List has become a name brand , and The Golden Gavel Awards , The A-List ’ s signature event , has become one of the most popular events at the Trial Lawyers Summit . The Golden Gavel Awards recognizes and awards the top legal advertisements in categories such as print , radio , billboard , television , and more each year . Each year we have doubled the number of submissions from the previous year and the competition continues to grow fiercer with each award show .
In 2022 , we announced our first inductee , Len Jacoby , into the Trial Lawyer Advertising Hall of Fame during The Golden Gavel Awards to honor one person ’ s life work in legal advertising . This year , we added to more recipients by inducting Norton Frickey from Network Affiliates and and Jim Sokolove to the Trial Lawyer Advertising Hall of Fame . These men were advertising pioneers for our industry and we feel honored to be able to celebrate their accomplishments . Without them , there would be no A-List or Golden Gavel Awards .
I am also excited to announce that after January 2024 , The A-List will be moving this signature event to The National Trial Lawyers Business of Law conference that takes place in Scottsdale , Arizona at the beginning of November each
yeaar . So , if you haven ’ t already been working on your ads for The Trial Lawyers Summit in Miami , I encourage you to get creative and submit your best work for nomination since this upcoming year will be the last time The Golden Gavel Awards will take place in Miami .
