Based in London, United Kingdom, Daniel relishes any opportunity to travel and subsequently share experiences, meet new and interesting people, challenge himself, increase knowledge of other cultures and traditions, and learn more about the intricate, enchanting and often ambiguous world we live in. Originally from Sydney, Australia, Daniel graduated from the University of Sydney in 2011 with a degree in Commerce. He proceeded to work in this field as an analyst in a multinational professional services firm 4 The Travellist | Issue 4, 2016 Lala Warner whilst concurrently engaging in travel, writing and musical projects. As an avid and passionate traveller, Daniel’s heart pulsates with adventure, especially in regards to nature. A breathtaking sunset, the serenity of rainfall, mysterious valleys, domineering mountain ranges, rivers and waterfalls – they never seem to disappoint. At the same time, Daniel loves to get to know the local inhabitants as well as the atmosphere encapsulated in the urban locations he visits. The stories, perspectives and variations in life open a platform for discovery and formulate an additional impetus for writing. Besides travel, Daniel’s major passion is music. He recently recorded his debut EP Dawn Is Night at Jungle Studios, Sydney, with a full release registered in August 2015. The music infuses a mix of alternative, folk, and at times indie sounds, with lyrics open for interpretation. Daniel writes regularly and performs as often as possible, and is currently working on organising material for a future full length album.
