Leam Conley , equity trader , AXA Investment Management Leam Conley joined Axa Investment Management in July 2019 , where his primary focus is trading cash equities through both high and low touch routes . Leam enjoys embedding himself into the investment process working closely with fund managers and other market participants to add as much value as possible . Leam received a large number of nominations from sell-side counterparties , who praise his “ detailed knowledge of algo strategies and works with brokers to customise strategies to get best execution and performance for funds ,” as well as being “ proactive and news reactive ”.
Brokers have also been “ impressed by his standout professionalism , dealing etiquette and willingness to think laterally about market structure . He is extremely proactive with regards to information flow , both between the street and his various portfolio managers and as a result , is a very successful and respected dealer .” Other comments include “ he ' s been one of the best in the market for quite some time .” In addition to algo wheel development and market structure , other focus areas include TCA analysis . Leam has previous experience trading on a multi-asset desk helping him to provide colour from a macro and micro viewpoint .

Simone Foltran , associate , global equity trading analytics and strategy , JP Morgan Asset Management Simone Foltran joined JP Morgan Asset Management in March 2020 , as part of the trading analytics and strategy team based in London . In his role , Simone focuses on the design and back-testing of systematic trading strategies and on the quantitative analysis of trading data ( TCA ). “ As the markets have become more volatile , analytical work around trading aggression has become more important . Simone has enhanced the aggression levels of our autotrader and works closely with the PM ' s to optimise trading unit size in volatile markets ” states one colleague . Others state that Simone “ is driving the projects to help JPM trading stay at the forefront of trading technology and trading analytics and providing PMs with invaluable analytics for their funds ’ trading performance ” and that he takes ownership of analytics projects in Europe and consistently delivers to both the trading desk and PMs . He is well on his way to becoming a leader in the space at JPMAM .”
Prior to his current position , Simone worked in systematic trading and quant research at Deutsche Bank and Intesa Sanpaolo Group . Simone attained a Master of Science from Bocconi University in Milan and a Bachelor of Science from University of Bologna .
