Jayson Castro
Last season, we almost saw Jayson Castro grabbing his very first Most Valuable player award. But he humbly advised on an interview that he don’t deserve it. He was on top three but he said that either of the two – Arwind Santos and LA Tenorio deserves it. Statistically speaking, he is third, but the just like the two candidates, he deserve to get it as well. If all the hard work including what he has done for the Gilas Pilipinas National team will be taken accounted for, he is more than an MVP. It wasn’t a
problem at all if he didn’t win the award last season. He is already a contender, a force to reckon not only here in our country but all over Asia. It wouldn’t be news at all if he again will make the top candidates at the end of the season. It wouldn’t even be news at all if he wins it this time.
