Kelly won the MVP award during his Sta. Lucia stint when he led the Realtors into a championship. He was an inside threat and guys just have a hard time stopping him. When he moved to Talk N Text, it was not just the points, rebounds and hustle that he had brought. Last season when he decided to indefinitely leave the sport he loves, it was difficult for him and the team. Talk N Text struggled mightily without him. I remember that the players were sad when they heard that he had to leave. It’s been said many times, he is an inspiration to everyone. He is valuable to the team, and to everyone who knows him. He might not be the same as the one who had claimed the MVP years ago, but he is the better person whom the team needs more.
problem at all if he didn’t win the award last season. He is already a contender, a force to reckon not only here in our country but all over Asia. It wouldn’t be news at all if he again will make the top candidates at the end of the season. It wouldn’t even be news at all if he wins it this time.
