Usually the one who gets it has the most points, rebounds, assists, minutes and every other statistic that will show on a game, it also is the one who gets the most votes as this individual award was based on the people’s perception for who’s the best. Jimmy Alapag
Jimmy Alapag grabbed the Most Valuable Player award last 2010-2011 season, when Talk N Text was able to almost grabbed a grand-slam title after winning the Philippine Cup, Commissioner’s Cup, and second place in the Governors Cup. While some had argued that other player had a better statistics than him, no one had questioned how he truly deserved the award. There’s no debate upon his inclusion for being one of the best point guard to ever play the game. He’s playmaking ability will always make everyone looks good and his three pointers are too far that defenders are really having a hard time guarding it. With his 10th PBA season, he is still the most valuable captain Talk N Text has ever had.
