The TNT Diary December 2013 | Page 14

Sad part of basketball was when time comes that players had to go, either by retirement, or if they got traded. It was really hard when we part ways to the likes of Jared Dillinger, Rich Alvarez, Pamboy Raymundo, Bam Gamalinda, Rabeh Al-Husseini and even Japeth Aguilar who all had been part of TNT’s successes in Philippine Cup. But of course, you lose some, you will definitely win some. And the new players thatwe had right now are all equally awesome. As I quoted, I love them all already.

Danny Seigle – Almost all were worried that the PBA will not be able to see DS play again, when news came that he decided not to re-sign with Barako Bull. PBA fans and even players, knows that he really have a lot more things to show. Then the good news - Talk N Text saw this as an opportunity to acquire the veteran forward, who for sure will continue to cause match-up problems against any team. It was a win - win situation for Danny Seigle and Talk N Text, also for the whole PBA community as well. It is just so hard to imagine the league without him. Now, he is helping the team, providing offensive and defensive support whenever needed.

Sean Anthony – We got Sean Anthony as early as the last conference of the last PBA

season. Almost immediately, he provided amazing games for us when our players

were on loaned to the National team. In an instant, he provided what he does best,

doing the odd jobs inside the court and making big time contributions as well. With

Harvey Carey, Talk N Text definitely had the best role players in the league now.

Eliud Poligrates – drafted 27th on the last PBA draft, he certainly made himself known by PBA fans after providing a stellar performance in front of his home crowd in Cebu at TNT’s first game. Being together with the league’s best point guard in Jimmy Alapag and Jayson Castro, Eloy will definitely improve more, and will continueto provide quality minutes for the team.
