Recruitment Ideas

Many chapters across Texas effectively recruit and retain members every year through various activities. Many chapters employ social media in order to attract members by offering a platform in which the club's activities can be advertised. Socials and service projects are great ways to attract members as well - members want to make a difference in the community, but they want to have fun as well. Service projects allow members to gain volunteer hours and socialize, while socials offer members a place to have fun and meet their fellow FBLA'ers. Chapter socials are a great way to retain members, because it allows members to make new friends, which in turn motivates them to do more for the club. Hope you all Paint Your Path with membership this year!

TCEC Recruitment

Last July, your State Action Team attended the Texas Career Education Conference in Dallas to promote FBLA to schools across Texas. The officers spoke to many teachers, principals, district staff members, and community leaders. At our booth, attendees learned about the mission and vision of FBLA, its benefits, and how to join. Our officers were able to attract many potential chapters and begin the achievement of our 5,000 member goal! Furthermore, your officers networked with state officers from many different clubs and had a great time exploring the city of Dallas!
