Saebree Gonzalez, who placed in Introduction to Business Presentation says:

"Traveling to Atlanta, Georgia was absolutely a trip of a lifetime. I not only met lifelong friends from different states such as, Florida, Nebraska, and Oregon; I grew so much closer to my adviser and fellow members. I will never forget my excitement at awards. Standing on that stage in front of 13,000 people had to be the best day of my life. My heart was beating out of my chest, and I was shaking, eager to find out if the months of hard work had paid off. When I heard the announcer announce, "In fifth place from Texas, Saebree Gonzales and Breanna Sanchez", I felt so accomplished. Going to nationals has inspired me to run for a state office, taught me how to be more outgoing, and even pursue my dream in becoming a lawyer."

Kous Nyshadham, who placed in Web Design says:

"This past summer, I had the opportunity to compete in FBLA nationals in Atlanta, Georgia. The biggest attraction in Atlanta I was able to see was the Coca Cola factory where we got to try different types of soda from around the world. I also had the opportunity to explore the world CNN center where I learned how the TV network operates. The most important aspect of the trip was the connections I made and the people I had the chance to meet from around the country. Although the trip was less than a week, I was able to make friendships that I know will last a lifetime. Through FBLA, I have developed a work ethic where I am able to balance school, FBLA, and my other extracurricular activities. FBLA has helped enhance my efficiency and helped me become more focused on my goals. The organization has furthered my interest in the field of computer science and web development. The final competition at nationals was one of the most exciting moments of my life. Hearing mine and my partner’s names being called, I was thrilled to know that our effort and contribution to the project had paid off and excited that something we put most of our energy in over the school year had been note-worthy."
