The concept is that of summoning truth beyond words,
transcendence as a silent intimate experience, without
which language is a Tower of Babel, a bitter accumulation
of ambiguous and controversial concepts and interpretations,
an adulterated form of transmission. Recognizing the silence
behind the text illuminates the words. In the installation
the TEXT springs from the EMPTY BOOK and spreads out
into the CHURCH.
