MMU has a variety of sporting events like martial
arts, hockey, tennis, badminton, archery, soccer,
rugby among others but this month’s notable
event was rugby.
The MMU Hornbills rugby team participated in
the rugby tournament which they hosted in Melaka
The MMU rugby giants who carried the MMU
flagship to victory took on the rival teams by surprise had no difficulty in bringing glory to MMU.
The MMU team shall be Ushered to a Special
Dinner on 1/24 to congratulate them of their
achievement.
Apart from rugby other sporting activities are
also greatly represented like soccer where a tournament between different clubs within MMU
and basket ball which also has a tournament going on.
Other notable well presented sports are futsul,
volleyball, and fencing.
