Southwest CKI’ers, In this issue: District Update .. 3 Spot Light ........ 3 It is my pleasure to announce that Fall Rally will be almost half price from last year, at a mere $35 for the whole weekend. For newcomers, this will be one of the most memorable weekends of your life. You’ll get a glimpse of how big Circle K really is, bond with Circle K’ers from other clubs in your team, and have a great time doing some silly and awesome stuff with everyone. For Fall Rally veterans, this will be just as exciting as last year. We’ll be keeping some of the classic activities, while spicing it up with our new team-building lowropes course at Kamp Kiwanis. Register now! Forms are due on September 27th! Bring your superhero/villain swag or something to make yourself stand out. For example, if I brought my ukulele, I could be Ukulele Man. It’s going to be a SUPER time at Fall Rally this year. I’ll see you there, Service League. Now, I am equally excited to announce my Governor’s Project: Serving the Students of the Southwest! This sounds an awful lot like Kiwanis’s “Serving the Children of the World”, doesn’t it? In keeping with Kiwanis and drawing from my Eagle Scout Project, which involved helping three elementary schools, my governor’s project is to essentially fulfill a need at your local elementary school. What you do is entirely up to you and the school! Read my handout! Clubs will be recognized at DCON, so get started, impact the Students of the Southwest, and make your club stand out!
