Zia Division

There are many great things happening in the Zia Division . ENMU took part in Up Till Dawn , a fundraiser for St . Jude ’ s , and Relay for Life . They also did a March of Dimes walk in Roswell . They supported their Kiwanis at their Flower Sale . They also had a pinning ceremony last week for their new officers and new members . They planed an extensive calendar for the coming year and will be doing some planning for events and recruitment during the summer . They may also do some service projects over the summer with the members still living in the area . UNM was very busy this month . They participated in CKI Service Week and did “ What does service mean to you ?” They also did tabling for Eliminate , Castle of Cans for STUFH , Better World Books , and a “ Bagels for Babies ” for March of Dimes . They helped at a local Elementary school ’ s BBQ fundraiser for the arts / after school program . They took part in Relay for Life by raising money with a bake sale and then attending the event . They took part in Kiwanis One day by helping organize an event at Wemagination , a center for kids to do art projects . UNM also showed their support for their Kiwanis at their Pancake Breakfast . They participated in Spring Storm through UNM and packaged food at the Animal Humane Society . They organized a Key Club social and service project and made Little Dresses for Africa . They finished off the semester pinning their new officers and honoring their immediate past . UNM will be fundraising for ICON through May and June and are organizing fundraisers including Car Hopping for Tips at Sonic . They may also take part in a field day at an elementary school and a Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids .
