‘Home Groups’
provide an
opportunity to meet
together to pray, to
discuss the Bible and
to ask questions.
Any question is
permitted (though we
can't always
guarantee an
answer!)
There are two Home
Groups in South
Barrow which meet at
8pm on

Tuesdays at 65
Greengate Street
Wednesdays at
The Vicarage, 98a
Road.
Roose Road
These informal
meetings begin with
tea/coffee and
biscuits/cake,
following by an
explanation and
discussion on a Bible
passage and prayer,
ending no later than
9.30pm.

FOODBANK
UPDATE
In the run up to
Christmas, Barrow
Foodbank fed 1400
people - as well as
three days’ supply of
food, each client was
given a seasonal
hamper and small
gift, which thanks to
your generosity,
made a big difference
to the Christmas of
those needing help.
The Foodbank would
like to thank everyone
for their donations,
including the many
toys, chocolates and
sweets, which helped
make Christmas
happier for lots of
families.,
The Foodbank are
now trying to increase
their stocks again - if
you can help with
these items, or any
from the list below,
please place them in
the usual boxes in
church - thank you:
UHT milk (NOT fresh
or skimmed), UHT
fruit juice, teabags,
tinned meat, fish,
fruit, vegetables,
tomatoes, sponge
pudding, rice pudding,
custard (tinned or UHT
carton), pasta sauce,
instant mashed
potato, sugar, jam,
biscuits or snack bars,
cereal (medium or
large boxes)

It’s Church but not as
we know it!
‘Messy Church’ is for
adults and children to
enjoy together.
It's all-age. it's fun. it’s
aim is to introduce
Jesus, to give an
opportunity to
encounter Him and to
grow closer to Him.
The next Messy
Church is at 3pm on
Sunday 2nd February
at St. George’s Hall
George’ Hall.
